Week 6 20% Project

        During week 6 of my 20% Project I had started working on the presentation that we will have to present to the class.  This presentation is going to show the progress in what I have done so far with this project.  The furthest I have gotten with my project so far is getting the pair of the shoes and the pair of cleats I need for this project.  I am still having trouble finding certain tools to separate the bottom part of the cleat.  I'm also having trouble with finding certain of glue or something strong that will hold the bottom part of the cleat. I am also having trouble with finding a certain type of glue or something strong that will hold the bottom part of the cleat to the shoe. Once i find out what tools will work then I will be able to connect the two shoes together to make a comfortable wearing pair of cleats. Then the winner of my raffle will have the chance to test them out. If he likes them then it will be a success and I will consider making more.

Week 5 20% Project

    During week 5 of my 20% project I have been doing  a lot of researching if other people are trying to also make a shoe into a cleat just like what I am doing.   I found cleats on google that are similar to what we are trying to create as well.  I have been trying to find different tools to disconnect the bottom part of the cleat.  I think I'm just going to go to a local hardware store and just see what I can find there  that could help me out.  Another problem I am having  is trying to find a strong enough glue that will be able to hold the bottom part of the cleat to the shoe.  I might have too go to home depot to see if they have a strong glue.  I really need to focus on putting the bottom part of cleat onto  the shoe because if I mess up then I will need to start over, it is very important that I find the correct materials to make this a success.
