Week 3 20% Project

For my third week of my 20% Project we are trying to find a cleat that is affordable and strong spikes.  It doesn't really matter what type of baseball cleat because we are going to be taking off the bottom half of the cleat.  During this week I went to a local sporting goods and bought a pair of Nike cleats.  I have been looking for tools that will be able to take off the cleat without damaging it. I have also been looking up certain things to try to connect the two together, because the last thing I want is the bottom part of the shoe to be falling apart when someone is them while they are playing.  Before I connect the two shoes together we have to actually measure the width because we don't want the plastic of the metal to be overlapping the shoe. I think I'm actually making great progress on my 20% Project.

Week 2 20% project

During the second week of the 20% project I did a raffle for our baseball team at school to see who would win the pair of cleats were making. In the picture that is on the side, it shows that Jake Wilkerson has a smile on his face because he is the one who won the pair of cleats. This week, the person who I am working with on the project is going to buy the cleats so that we can take the bottom part of the cleat and try to figure out how we are going to connect to the shoe. This week I also found the tools that Im going to use to separate the bottom part of the shoe from the top part of the shoe. I think that I am making great progress with the project. I didn't think I was going to get the shoes this early in the project. However, I still need a plan on how I can connect the two shoes together.
